In simple terms, talents are skills that come naturally to a person. Natural skills need to be identified instead of criticizing our weaknesses. Just think about all the things you are comfortable with. These could include anything- from cooking to art, sports to languages. To understand our talents we should look back into our past and consider what we were naturally good at as children or young adults. I was very talented in my school. One day, my father was plowing in fields and I asked him to allow me to plow but he denied it and asked me to concentrate on my studies. Being a child, I never knew about my talent. Parents help identify their ward’s talents if they watch their kids properly during their childhood. Interest in agriculture still exists in me.

What Is A Hidden Talent?

Hidden talents are abilities or skills we didn’t even know we have. Generally, we often focus on drawing, acting, singing, playing instruments, learning languages quickly, and so forth. We find extraordinary things in kids when we visit our relatives or friends’ houses. A few days back, I visited a friends’ house and I found the kids’ imagination and way of talking were quite different than a normal kid’s. I started calling him a genius and asked his parents to explore the possibilities in the kid and put them in line. In my view, his imagination power is different than that of a normal kid. Therefore, hidden talents need to be identified and appreciated. Please do not think you don’t have any talents because you can’t draw or play instruments like others. Maybe your talent is still waiting to be discovered, and all it needs is someone to notice what you’re capable of.

Is Talent come by Birth Or Learned?

Natural talent is not something you learn. It’s something you either have or don’t have. Many people believe that talent can be developed and improved by practicing it over a long time. We generally find that some students are naturally talented and get admission to prestigious institutes irrespective of their background and some talents cannot be learned – these people were born with a special talent, and it just had to be discovered! It is your interest that always plays an important role in your life. It means interest is your natural talent and it needs to be identified. Therefore, some talents are by birth, and others are developed.
