Ambedkar Jayanti 2023: Share his 10 Priceless Thoughts:  Today April 14, 2023, is Babasaheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar’s birth anniversary. Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar is known as the “Father of the Indian Constitution.” Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar was born in a Dalit family on 14 April 1891 in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh. In those days, the caste to which he belonged was considered untouchable. In such a situation, he was subjected to discrimination. Following this, he spent the rest of his life fighting for the rights of Dalits, the exploited, and the backward. He was always an advocate for the rights of the working class and women. Ambedkar, the Dalit messiah, was a great thinker, social reformer, jurist, and economist. As a great legal scholar, he was appointed as the country’s first law minister. His ideas also resulted in the creation of the Reserve Bank of India.

CANVA

The day of Ambedkar Jayanti is dedicated to spreading Babasaheb’s great and inspiring ideas. His progressive thinking inspires millions of young people in the country. On this day, I would like you to share his 10 inspirational and priceless thoughts:

1. Life should be great, not long.

2. Religion is for man, not religion for man. I practise a religion that teaches liberty, equality, and fraternity.
3. If we want a united, modern India, we must end the sovereignty of all religious scriptures.

4. In Hinduism, there is no room for the development of conscience, reason, and independent thinking.
5. History demonstrates that when there is a conflict between ethics and economics, economics always wins. Vested interests are not willingly surrendered unless there is sufficient force to compel them to do so.

6. The ultimate goal of human existence should be the development of intelligence. History cannot be made by those who forget it.

7. Equality may be a fiction, but still it has to be accepted as a governing principle.

8. If I feel that the constitution is being misused, I will be the first to burn it.

9. Whatever freedom the law gives you is of no use to you until you achieve social freedom.

10. I assess the progress of a society by looking at the condition of its women.

I hope that you might have learned a lot about Dr. Ambedkar, the father of constitution and I thank all of you to be patient during my speech.
