As a correspondent for Dainik Bhaskar Jhajjar, my name is Neha. I had the chance to travel to Arya Nagar in Jhajjar to learn about the locals’ complaints about the subpar electrical supply there. People in the colony reported that there were open manholes and a power outage in the evenings, when people are out and about.
As soon as I turned onto another street, the electricity went off. Accidents were caused by power outages. In order to study for their exams, the students were awaiting power. The colony experienced theft issues, and residents repeatedly complained to the officers in the electricity department. People were having difficulties at work every day.

I would like to bring to your kind notice the poor condition of roads in Sector 6, Jhajjar. There are big holes in the road, which cause many accidents in our locality. We have already appealed to the estate office to look into the matter, but unfortunately, no action was taken by the estate office. So, we have to write to you about how bad the roads are in Sector 6, Jhajjar.
The roads from the main entries from Gurugram and Rewari are totally damaged during the rainy seasons. The wide roads and connected roads are in poor condition. Even walking on these roads is not possible during the night. We have written to the authorities many times, but we have not been heard by the concerned authorities.
Therefore, the RWA of this sector decided to write to you to draw your attention. Thus, RWA requests that you must instruct the PWD department to repair the road. Your positive action will be highly appreciated by the residents of Sector 6, Jhajjar.

The fear of water stayed with the author for many years, and thus, the author hired an instructor to learn to swim. The instructor made five lesson plans in a week. He attached a rope and asked the author to go back and forth, and in this way, hour after hour, day after day, the instructor was developing swimming skills of the author. “Each time the instructor relaxed his hold on the rope and I went under, some of the old terror returned and my legs froze.”
Thus, the instructor developed the author’s swimming techniques; “piece by piece, he built a swimmer.” Finally, the instructor made the author a perfect swimmer by putting all his techniques together. This way, the instructor said, “Now you can swim. Dive off and swim the length of the pool, crawl stroke. ” Thus, the instructor was finished. The author was a swimmer, but the fear was not finally ended.

The poetess, Kamla Das, discussed in the poem, “My Mother at Sixty-six,” the problems of old age and how we feel about old age. The bonding between a mother and daughter is visible in the poem. Aging is a universal fact, and we are all going to be old one day. She explains all her apathy toward old age with the example of her mother, who is an old lady with an open mouth, and no shine on her face, and she is compared with a corpse and a winter moon. It is human nature that we don’t want to be old.

In this poem, the poet describes the deplorable circumstances of the poor people who set up a little booth on the side of the road to sell their agricultural goods to motorists who pass by. The passersby don’t even care what they sell in their booths. People don’t even look at the roadside stand. These roadside stands lack the basic amenities of a city shop.

i) In The Tiger King, Kalki openly criticizes the wealthy for their indifference toward wild animals. The entire story revolves around the tiger king, who is the main protagonist. The title explains the author’s intention. The story is a satire on the arrogance of those in power.
How can a ten-day-old boy take on the tigers? The author explains the astrologer’s flattery of His Highness, the Tiger King, who became king at the age of twenty. To save his life, he begins killing tigers. He was killed not by the tiger but by a nail in a wooden tiger, and he died from a severe infection. In the final paragraph, the author employs dramatic irony.
The Tiger King is killed by a simple, rusted nail, not a tiger. This is a satirical situation used by the author to demonstrate his point that we must respect wild animals or we will be killed by something smaller than the wild animal itself. As a result, The Tiger King is a satire on the arrogance of those in power, as powerful people will go to any length to save their own lives.
